AFTER CARE
Marble

Our Marble tops will arrive to you raw and untreated, as Marble is a natural and porous stone, we recommend that you seal your worktops every 6-12 months depending on how frequent the use is.

Marble Sealers are very effective and do a great job at preventing staining on marble. However, it is very important to remember that no sealer is perfect and if spills are given enough time, they will penetrate the stone and create stains. Like polished marble, the sealer will just buy you more time to clean the stain from the surface.
Even though marble sealer will help prevent stains it will not prevent etching. Etching will occur independent of surface finish or marble sealer so it is very important to try and avoid spilling acidic agents onto the marble surface.

Quartz
​
Quartz worktops are made from modern materials which requires little day to day care. The material is non-porous and simple to care for. Clean the surfaces regularly with water containing soap or a mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge.
Oak
​
Our natural oak products are finished in hard wax oil to ensure they are splash resistant. We recommend that the hard wax oil is applied annually to ensure to oak remains protected.
